Small IT firms are being offered the chance to gain quick qualifications over the Easter break to enable them to learn while still running their businesses effectively.
The Training Camp is offering small firms to take advantage of the Easter bank holiday to gain the MCSE 2003 qualification, at a cut-price fee.
By taking part in accelerated learning over the break, The Training Camp claimed that IT entrepreneurs will be able to get certified without spending too much time away from their business.
The IT training firm said that the courses will enable participants to gain the necessary skills in eight, rather than 10, working days, minimising the time spent away from the workplace.
The Training Camp said that the scheme will also offer those who sign up a massive £1,500 discount on the training.
Many small businesses feel that they do not have the time or resources for training, but the severe shortage of skilled UK workers has put pressure on employers to get staff up to standard.
Last week, e-Skills launched the One Stop Shop, a database of training providers for IT firms, in response to the large number of businesses that need to train staff but cannot find a good value, convenient provider.
The Training Camp’s Easter scheme aims to further bridge the skills gap in the IT sector.
Robert Chapman, co-founder of the Training Camp, which boasts an 85 per cent pass rate, welcomed the new accelerated learning offer.
“Contractors and part-time staff are people whose salaries are greatly affected by the time they spend in the office.
“This course will minimise the time out of work for those wanting to improve their IT skills. By doing this over Easter, they can get the most out of their bank holidays,” he said.
The scheme will run from April 5 to 18. For more details about the courses, call 08700 775 507 or click on www.trainingcamp.co.uk
