Just a word of advice to all those who may be considering buying one of the Volusion products - don't!

I did so much research/due diligence before finally biting the bullet and purchasing their bespoke design service. Huge mistake - I was completely missold the product.

- It doesn't do several important things which are important to my business

- It isn't a product for someone who isn't technical. You have to be able to code to use this product.

- It isn't a bespoke design package by any means (I asked them if my site could look like 'A', which is a simple design and they say 'Yes, no problem' but actually come back now and say they can't do and won't do aspects of it).

- Customer Service is non-existent - even the managers are not problem-solvers.

Technical support is at least a 20 min call wait and seem not to be remotely technical at all - they cannot help me with the most basic of queries.

I thought I had done more than sufficient research as to user reviews etc prior to purchase but I was completely wrong. I hope this can be a word of warning to anybody considering commissioning an ecommerce site!
