British Library offers 2-for-1 tickets to Growing Business readers

Inspiring Entrepreneurs events include Tim Campbell, and teenage entrepreneurial whizz-kid Fraser Doherty

Growing Business and the British Library have teamed up to offer an exclusive deal on tickets to the Library’s Inspiring Entrepreneurs events next week.

The special events are part of Enterprise Week, a national initiative to encourage more young people to turn their ideas into enterprising ventures.

Teenpreneurs: The Youthful Guide to Starting a Business, is on Wednesday 14 November from 6.15-9pm including a networking reception.

Speakers include award-winning 18-year old inventor Emily Cummins,Fraser Doherty, who launched his successful jam-making business at 14, Wilson Chowdry, founder and managing director of AA Security; and Ben Way, one of the 2007 Growing Business Young Guns.

On Thursday 15 November it’s the turn of the social entrepreneurs. The event, Social Enterprise: Building companies with a social conscience, will focus on the ever-increasing demand for ethical products and mounting pressure for companies to be more socially responsible.

Speakers include Sophi Tranchell, managing director of Fairtrade business Divine Chocolate, Zarine Kharas, founder of JustGiving, the UK’s leading charity fundraising website; Seb Bishop, one of the stars of Channel 4′s Millionaires’ Mission, and Tim Campbell, founder of The Bright Ideas Trust, a social initiative to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

As well as speaking at the event, the entrepreneurs will also be participating in panel discussions where you can put your own questions to them.

Tickets for both events are normally £10 for adults, but Growing Business and readers will receive two tickets for the price of one.
