Prospects for budding Scottish entrepreneurs as Signs Express takes to road
With 92% of its Scottish franchisees reporting profits, the sign company is looking for individuals to join its network with an Edinburgh discovery day
Aspiring business owners in Scotland are being given the chance to learn about the opportunities to become their own boss and get into franchising, with news that Signs Express is bringing its franchise discovery day to Edinburgh.
Headquartered in Norwich with a franchise network that extends across the UK, Signs Express is the country’s largest signage company and has become the market leader since launching 25 years ago.
The chain, which offers franchise packages for a fee of £20,000, will be holding a discovery day on Friday 6 October at Dalmahoy Hotel, Kirknewton to provide an in-depth view of its franchise and what it could mean for you.
Signs Express has prime locations available in Edinburgh and Perth and says that, as these territories boast over 15,000 businesses, “they offer the perfect opportunity for establishing and growing a new centre”.
It also claims that new recruits can tap into a “booming” industry with 92% of all Scottish franchises reporting profits.
The most searched for signs brand, Signs Express is looking for motivated individual and doesn’t require new recruits to have prior industry knowledge.
Steve McMurray, a Signs Express franchisee for Falkirk, advocates the business opportunity:
“People who are driven, have a passion for working hard and are able to learn quickly should most certainly consider a franchise with Signs Express.
“I was keen to run my own business and focused on opportunities that could offer me accelerated growth. Signs Express were and continue to be, market leaders within the sector, hence their appeal.
“Being a franchisee has given my family a good lifestyle both in terms of financial benefits and time. As I now have a larger team working for me, I can reap the lifestyle benefits of this business.”
Signs Express also has franchise vacancies in the UK and holds discovery days at its Norwich centre on the third Thursday of every month.
