Franchising of my business
Posted the below in the introductions section but it seems it is a bit of a ghost town in there with very little activity. My name is Robert McLean and I run a relatively successful industrial cleaning business, that encompasses, pressure washing, cladding & high level cleaning, chewing gum & graffiti removal, drain jetting/cctv surveys, window & atria cleaning. The business developed from again a reasonably successful regional window cleaning business (that I sold on to an employee). The works are carried out for four of the top five supermarkets in the UK and for 4 of the top 6 principle contractors. I am well over my capacity and have been sub contracting successfully for quite some time. I want to bring this work back in house and under my logo, without the aggravation of employing directly. Looking at franchising the business but it is all new to me and wouldn’t mind some assistance with the next stage. Many thanks Rob I am sure that there are a lot of similar posts put up but I really am at the point where I would like this to happen and could do with getting on with the nuts and bolts. Many thanks Rob
Great dear i am Ghayoor Abbas we are also having the same business as yours in Pakistan. One thing we are lacking in which is that people are seeking for low rate dryer it is rather tough for us.
As a business owner based in the Wales who has experience setting up a franchise business based on my juice bar business, (check it out if it interests you http://www.juicebarfranchise.co.uk) I think the question really is are you ready to be a franchisor? Not "How to Franchise my Business".
Becoming a franchisor brings with it new responsibilities – Are you ready to take this step? Remember you will be moving from running a business that you have built brick by brick to becoming a franchisor now charged with the challenge to franchise the business and develop a franchise network. Eventually you may cease being a hands-on manager. Are you ready for the change?
We come across people every day who ask similar questions. So we decided to try and help the small business community by launching http://www.how-to-franchise.co.uk while it is not an exhaustive source of info, it is built on our own real life commercial experience as a small business owner.
Hope this helps
Having a business is not an easy work at all and I consider that having franchise of the business is a best way so that you will have in your own. However, I have some question regarding this matter. How would I can make the franchise business? and what is the best step so that it will take not longer? Can you give me some information regarding this matter.
