Nine out of ten companies world-wide are creating branded content and it is easy to understand why: Brand recall is 59% higher for branded content than for display and native ads and consumers are 14% more likely to look for additional content from a company after a single impression of branded content. But in the age of Netflix, Youtube and Facebook, any video content is facing enormous competition to even simply be noticed. Most branded content isn’t successful – a recent study found that their success rate is only about 30%. Brands have to remember that the aim with branded content is to create films that people want to watch and within this they compete with all of the world’s content, from cute cat videos to the latest season of House of Cards.
In this highly competitive environment, creating an engaging brand film that will grab people’s attention can seem like a Herculean task. This is where we come in: Born out of the documentary broadcast industry, Rogan Productions produces brand films, which are not only beautifully shot, but are also structured around a compelling narrative with an authentic and powerful story. One of our latest brand films, Twilight of the Masters, was nominated for Best Documentary at the European Short Film Festival and our online branded series, The Craftsmen’s Dinner, received around 6 million views and had a reach of over 58 million OTS. The series was also featured in national newspapers, such as the Independent and the Evening Standard as well as more specialised magazines such as The Taste of London.
