Google Adwords – Competitor Advertising
Hey, I’ve been doing some research and I’ve found out it’s legal and accepted by Google to advertise for a competitors name in your keywords. I’m aware you cannot in anyway pretend to represent that company. My questions are…..has anybody found this tactic has had them ‘blacklisted’? Does it just lead to a lot of fraudulent clicks and no sales? Is it ethical? Cheers

As long as the advert does not contain your company details the keyword element is purely an option to bring up a paid advert on the google search page. If you are listed naturally then most people will head to your site. If the advert was successful in catching the attention of the person doing the search then maybe worth looking to see what you can adapt for your own company.
