Headspace Group opens Manchester workspace for start-ups, creatives and freelancers
The start-up’s new facility offers the city’s entrepreneurs a nap room, refreshment bars, themed meeting rooms and a 60-person event space
Start-up office provider Headspace Group has launched a flexible workspace in Manchester, tailored for technology companies, creative businesses and freelancers.
The new 15,000-foot site offers co-working spaces, private offices and themed meeting rooms – all of which Headspace Group says have been uniquely designed.
The space also boasts a nap room, refreshment bars, shower facilities, a reception area and an event space fit to hold 60 people. According to the start-up, an on-site team is on hand to arrange community events for entrepreneurs using the space.
Part of the Albert Estate – a collection of buildings around Albert Square which house a range of businesses – the new facility is based at 2 Mount Street in Manchester.
Launched by property entrepreneur Jonny Rosenblatt in 2013, three-time Startups 100-listed Headspace Group specialises in short-term lease workspace for the media, technology and creative sectors, with tenants including Eventbrite, Buzzfeed and Microsoft.
