Hospitality jobs app Inploi secures £250,000 seed funding round
Investment brings London-based company’s funds to £450,000 and will be used for product development and network growth
Inploi, the on-demand jobs platform, has closed £250,000 in seed funding from a number of sources including the CEO of a large multinational hotel chain, a LinkedIn client executive, and a Geneva-based family office.
Founded in 2015 by Matt de la Hey and Alex Hanson-Smith, London-based Inploi matches job seekers to one-off, short-term or long-term positions in the hospitality sector.

Users create a profile listing their relevant experience and skills and what kind of roles they are looking for, whilst employers provide details and role requirements for open positions.
The funding brings Inploi’s total investment to £450,000 and will be used to enhance its platform and grow its network of candidates and employers.
The company has also announced the appointment of two new advisors. Ross Sleight, former chief strategy and marketing & operations director of Virgin Games; and Jonny Crowe, current CEO of Dutch online fashion retailer Wehcamp
