New entrepreneur Kathy Wylie takes to the fast lane with Driver Hire

Wylie has taken up a resale franchise opportunity and is now the owner of the logistic recruitment chain’s Derby office. You could follow in her footsteps…

One month after announcing a record £100m in annual turnover, road transport and logistics recruitment specialist Driver Hire is celebrating the addition of Kathy Wylie to its franchise network.

With a past career in property development and retail banking, Wylie is the new owner of the chain’s Derby franchise – following a resale opportunity.

After researching several franchising opportunities, Wyle said she “settled on Driver Hire” after coming across the brand at the NEC’s franchise exhibition and was impressed by their business model which enabled her “to offer an in-depth range of recruitment and training services”.

Established in 1983, Driver Hire provides temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to businesses and organisations, particularly useful when customers need additional staff to deal with illnesses, holidays or business expansion.
