Pinterest named best social media platform for small businesses
New research suggests the visual bookmarking tool has helped early-stage companies achieve growth more than any other social media channel
Pinterest is the top social media platform for helping small and micro-businesses grow, according to latest research from 123 Reg.
Surveying 2,457 respondents from May 2016 to February 2017, the domain registrar found that small businesses and start-ups that used visual bookmarking site Pinterest had grown their sales by 54%.
This is 24% higher than businesses that chose to use Twitter, 15% higher than Instagram, and 8% more than businesses using Facebook as their main social media medium.
