Plusnet Pioneers: Book your free place at exclusive small business events
The launch of business broadband provider Plusnet’s exciting ‘Pioneers’ programme with exclusive events in London, Birmingham and Manchester announced
Today marks the launch of an exciting initiative where we will help small businesses looking to grow.
Business broadband and phone provider Plusnet has teamed up with a panel of business experts and Startups.co.uk to create Plusnet Pioneers, a programme of stimulating events, content and mentoring that gets to the heart of common issues small business owners face.
The events in London, Birmingham and Manchester will feature successful entrepreneurs such as Dragons’ Den’s Sarah Willingham, Gymbox founder Richard Hilton, and Claire Morley Jones of fast-growing human resource company HR180.
Why has Plusnet Pioneers been created?
Founders often feel they’re ‘winging it’ when it comes to big moments for their business.
Startups.co.uk readers like you told us about the things that keep them awake at night in three key areas of running a business – marketing, funding, and talent.
The survey, carried out in conjunction with Plusnet, revealed small business owners like you feel they lack the knowledge to solve some of their toughest challenges. But, with the right tools and advice at your disposal, such things can be overcome.
Plusnet is on a mission to help small businesses grow and so – in response to our findings and Plusnet’s commitment – the Plusnet Pioneers programme has been created to provide that helping hand every business needs.
So what will Plusnet Pioneers offer?
Kicking off this week, Startups will share the findings of a survey of almost 850 small business owners, uncovering the things that really give them sleepless nights.
We will also publish the unvarnished fears of small business owners and how amid the excitement of seeing their venture take off they’ve coped with the challenge of finding new customers, financing their businesses, and building a team.
Nine start-up founders shared their innermost thoughts at a Plusnet Pioneers roundtable discussion last month.
Then, you’ll have the chance to sign up to attend one of these free Plusnet Pioneers events in London, Birmingham, or Manchester:
