Richard’s online tracking system for food ingredients was launched in February 2008. The site allows each member of the supply chain, from farmer to retailer to upload nutritional information about a product to a central online database. Members subscribe to the service making it easier to comply with government regulations which require stringent records on food ingredients to be kept. Mostly self-funded by Richard, the company recently picked up a £30,000 prize including cash and support services from local Connect Yorkshire.
