Applications for the Startups 100 2017 index, the prestigious ranking of the UK’s 100 most exciting new businesses launched in the last three years, close on 24 March – leaving a two-week window in which ambitious start-ups can enter the competition.
Now in its eighth year, the annual Startups 100 is the longest-running index of its kind and is highly-regarded in the industry for recognising fantastic small businesses which often go on to become household brands, with Notonthehighstreet.com, PurpleBricks and Deliveroo among its alumni.
Owing to the Startups 100’s stellar reputation, businesses ranked in past indexes have been known to attract new customers, press coverage and investment off the back of their listing.
Last year’s index represented 186 of the country’s most promising entrepreneurs, with peer-to-peer property lender LendInvest taking the number one spot, followed by employee benefits start-up Perkbox and family-run sausage brand HECK.
This year, for the first time in the index’s history, Startups.co.uk and sponsor AXA Business Insurance will host an exclusive networking event for 100 businesses listed in the index.
So what are you waiting for? Apply here before 24 March to be considered for the index.
To be eligible, businesses must be UK-based, privately owned and must have launched on or after January 1 2014.
