Written and reviewed by: Megan Dunsby Voting has now closed for the 29 finalists in the running to take the ‘People’s Champion’ title at the Startups Awards 2013.For the past three weeks, business peers and the public have been voting in their thousands for the finalist they feel deserves the award based on their business proposition, story and branding.With voting now closed, the winner of the People’s Champion will be announced at our Startups Awards ceremony on Friday, 6 December along with 12 category winners and the overall Simply Business Startups Business of the Year, and will take home a trophy to show for their efforts.In addition, one voter will be chosen at random to attend the Startups Awards gala luncheon and will hand over the People’s Champion award in person.We will be announcing the lucky voter selected to present very shortly so keep an eye out for the announcement on our website.
