Winner of Britain’s Got 1 Million Ideas competition named
Chutney producing start-up awarded £1,100 mentoring package
Hampshire Chutney Co. has been revealed as the winner of the Britain’s Got 1 Million Ideas competition.
The competition, hosted by online entrepreneur community platform Dream Idea, awarded a mentoring package worth £1,100 to the recently launched chutney company.
An awards ceremony held on October 10 saw Hampshire Chutney founder Shelley Wilkinson become the first recipient of the Britain’s Got 1 Million Ideas award, which was launched earlier this year.
Wilkinson is now set to benefit from a range of business resources, including legal advice from managing director of Kiteleys, Mark Kiteley and business strategy guidance from Dream Idea founder Stephen Smith.
Founder of the Hampshire Chutney company Shelley Wilkinson is confident that the competition has given her start-up the boost it needed: “Being an entrepreneur and running everything single handedly I had got to the point where I could not physically expand anymore without having a team like Dream Idea UK helping.
“They have all the fields of expertise covered within their team that I so badly needed.
“I was so thrilled that I had won their competition as I knew it had opened up many doors for me! We are now on a journey to a much brighter and better place.”
