Young Gun Shelim Hussain MBE, the owner of Euro Foods Group, has been named Ernst & Young's (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 for London and South.

The accolade, intended to celebrate exceptional companies and business leaders, was granted to Hussain for his success in having scaled his food manufacturing and distribution business Euro Foods from a start-up he began aged 17 with £20 to a global firm with turnover in excess of $200m.

Recently Hussain has been focused on launching his new venture – an online takeaway ordering and reservation service – named Kukd.com which is set to go live later this year.

Hussain commented: “The EY awards are highly respected amongst entrepreneurs of all ages and it is an honour to be recognised for my work founding Euro Foods and Kukd.com”.
