Venture51, Greylock Partners and Founders Fund investment for gaming firm

Real money gaming firm Betable raised circa £12.3m ($18.5m) Series A funding in an investment led by Venture51 with input from Greylock and the Founders Fund. Allowing developers to bypass legal and regulatory issues, the company – founded by former private equity analyst Chris Griffin in 2011 – aims to take advantage of the burgeoning online gambling market, set to constitute a $43.3bn global market this year.
