2014’s biggest investments: Nujira £13.3m

GAM and Investec venture capital round for tracking technology company

‘Envelope tracking’ technology company Nujira raised approximately £13.3m ($20m) from new investors GAM and Investec, as well as backers from a previous venture capital round of £5m in 2007. Founded in 2002, the company develops energy-efficient technology for transmitters, and intends to use the new investment in the development of 4G wireless technology and to open a new design centre in California.
