Balderton Capital and Schroders investment taking wealth management platform’s funding to $50m

Fast growing online ‘discretionary wealth manager’ Nutmeg closed an estimated £21.2m ($32m) capital raise from a group of high net-worth investors including Balderton Capital and Schroders, taking the companies total funding to around £33.2m ($50m) since launch. Founded in 2012 by Nick Hungerford and William Todd, the investment is expected to be used primarily on customer acquisition and product development.
