2016 exhibitions will “bring new opportunities” for aspiring franchisees

Upcoming National Franchise Exhibition and British and International Franchise Exhibition will offer first-hand advice on becoming a franchisee

2016 will see the return of two of the UK’s biggest franchise exhibitions, giving aspiring business owners the chance to meet with hundreds of franchise brands and “take the first step towards fulfilling their ambitions”.

The National Franchise Exhibition will take place at the NEC Birmingham on February 19 and February 20, followed by The British & International Franchise Exhibition on March 11 and March 12 at London’s Olympia.

The vents will feature an extensive programme of seminars, advice clinics, legal and financial business advisers and will showcase franchisors from sectors including care, food & catering, cleaning, retail and property.

Both events will also host a Real Franchise Stories Panel, where franchisees share their career journeys and successes.

More than 500,000 people in the UK are currently employed in franchising, with industry turnover said to have hit £13.7bn.

Adrian Goodsell, director of franchise sales at Venture Marketing Group, commented: “Our spring exhibitions open up the franchise industry to thousands of ambitious men and women. They offer an exclusive chance to meet with world-renowned brands to get advice and see how franchising has successfully worked in the past for others.

“Additionally, the exhibitions are perfect for those who already have an understanding of franchising, but are looking to research the next opportunities available to them and those who are interested in franchising their own business.”
