£50,000 TV advertising campaign up for grabs for fast-growth business with the ‘X factor’

The media agency behind ad campaigns for Made.com, Graze and DietChef is taking applications to make one fast-growth business the next big “TV Star”

All Response Media, in conjunction with Startups.co.uk, has launched a nationwide competition to find one fast-growth business worthy of winning a TV advertising campaign worth £50,000.

Applications are open for All Response Media’s TV Star, which aims to find the company “best placed for rapid growth in the next 12 months”. Entrants will have to be in their first five years of trading and will need to fill out a brief questionnaire.

They also have the option to submit a two-minute video to support their entry, which will be judged by, amongst others, ARM’s founders Andy Sloan and Colin Gillespie, as well as Startups.co.uk’s founder David Lester.

The winning business will receive a fully funded media and creative campaign, as well as access to ARM’s TV media planning and buying, and RAPsure, its proprietary measurement system for tracking TV to web-visits.

The prize will look to build on the success of Startups Awards sponsor ARM’s previous advertising campaigns with leading brands such as 888.com, Made.com, DietChef  and Brand Alley.

An opportunity to “supercharge your growth prospects”, ARM said the competition will target businesses that may have seen their competitors running TV adverts, or those worried about the “enormity of the TV medium”.

Established by entrepreneurs Colin Gillespie and Andy Sloan, ARM has an impressive track record in delivering TV ad campaigns and is responsible for purchasing 120,000 TV spots across 28 clients each month, for which it claims it can drive lower cost-per-visits than Google.

Entries for the TV Star competition close on January 31 with finalists invited to take part in a Dragons’ Den style pitch at ARM’s Clerkenwell offices. You can find more information here.
