58 fast-growth start-ups chosen to join Sherry Coutu’s ‘Scale Up Club’

Kano, Hassle, and graze amongst UK businesses identified as having the potential to reach £100m revenues by 2020

The UK start-ups with the potential to reach £100m turnover in the next three to five years have been named, with 58 high-growth businesses joining the 2015 ‘Scale Up Club’.

Identified by angel investor Sherry Coutu CBE’s Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK) programme, the 58 start-ups have been recognised for their ability to scale to become leading brands – together the 2015 cohort have already generated over £300m revenue this year and employ over 3,100 people UK-wide.

The 2015 Scale Up Club members include Young Gun-founded companies Kano (founders pictued),Hassle, graze, Snap Fashion, Skimlinks, Adzuna, Urban Massage and Duedil – to name but a few.

Launched in 2006 by Coutu, Reid Hoffman and Ellen Levy, SVC2UK is a not-for-profit programme which looks to “inspire entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic prosperity”. Its previous alumni include Transferwise and Skyscanner.

Startups.co.uk will be joining the CEOs of the 2015 Scale Up Club at the London Stock Exchange today for the SVC2UK CEO Summit where the group will receive mentoring from Silicon Valley investors and entrepreneurs.
