Appear Here opens pop-up shop competition ‘Space for Ideas’

Three entrepreneurs will receive two-weeks prime retail space in London, £3,000 funding, and advertising space in the Evening Standard

Retail entrepreneurs have the chance to win two-weeks’ prime retail space in Central London in a new competition launched by Startups 100-listed online pop-up marketplace Appear Here.

A nationwide initiative, ‘Space for Ideas’ will help three business owners build a pop-up shop in the capital from August 11 to August 24 with three units available in Shoreditch, Covent Garden and on the King’s Road. Alongside free premise space, winners will also receive £3,000 funding, an EE 4G bundle of tech devices, advertising space in the Evening Standard, and a day of expert mentoring.

Entries will be judged by leading retail names including Cambridge Satchel Company founder Julie Deane, Ceviche founder Martin Morales, fashion entrepreneur and TV broadcaster Dawn O’Porter, Serge DeNimes founder and Made in Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock, and Appear Here CEO and Young Gun Ross Bailey.
