Arts and crafts franchise Creation Station celebrates awards success

Chain scooped 'Highly Commended' award at the 2015 Creative Play Awards and is in the running for the Festival Supplier Awards 2016

Creation Station, the leading UK children’s arts and crafts franchise, is on a winning streak after taking home the award for ‘Highly Commended’ at the recent 2015 Creative Play Awards.

The “creative experience” chain was awarded the accolade for it activity box offering – the Fun Arty Box (FAB) – which includes 10 activities and 10 ideas to help children “develop their self-confidence and creativity”.

The franchise brand, which has operations running nationwide, has also been shortlisted for another award; ‘Best Festival Support Service’ at the upcoming Festival Supplier Awards 2016. With winners announced next month, Creation Station has been nominated for the success of its arts and crafts themed Kidzones.

Launched in 2002 by Sarah Cressall (pictured), The Creation Station runs arts and crafts activity classes, parties and events which are said to make a difference to children’s lives.

It is looking for friendly, proactive and ambitious people to join its team of UK franchisees.

On its nomination for the Festival Supplier Awards, Cressall commented:

“With more families attending festivals than ever before, I’m thrilled that we’ve been shortlisted for the fun hands on activities we provide. We have a fantastic team of over 100 franchise owners covering the UK that help us engage and inspire festival guests and to provide creative fun for the whole family to enjoy”.
