Baskin-Robbins franchisee holds community party to celebrate first year
Azmeena Dewji looks to expand territory ownership after success of first venture
Baskin-Robbins franchisee Azmeena Dewji is celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of her ice cream franchise.
Dewji, who launched the Middlesex-based site in April 2012, will be holding a party for her customers and local community, complete with a children’s face painter and a Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake.
Following the success of her first year with the company, Dewji is looking to expand her business and is hoping to buy additional Baskin-Robbins sites.
The ice cream company, which currently operates more than 100 franchise sites across the UK, is now looking for more people to launch multi-store franchises.
Offering a potential year one turnover of £1m to owners of five sites, Baskin-Robbins is looking for potential business owners with £300,000 in liquid capital.
Commenting on her one year anniversary Dewji said: “I think looking back on my first year my favourite moments are when I have children or parents come into the store, telling me about how they have enjoyed our ice-cream cakes for their birthday celebrations.
“It is a great feeling to be so rooted in this community and to have people come in excited and with smiles on their faces.”
