Belvoir manager takes over Basildon site as franchise owner

Keeley Taylor latest franchisee for AIM-listed property management agency as it ramps up recruitment drive to hit 200 franchise offices by 2018

AIM-listed lettings franchise Belvoir has signed its newest franchisee Keeley Taylor; a former business manager for the chain.

Having originally helped to launch the office in 2006, Taylor has become the franchise owner of Belvoir Basildon after deciding that becoming a franchisee “was the right next step”.

Founded in 1995, Belvoir claims to be one of the largest specialist lettings agencies in the UK and has 160 franchise offices nationwide with plans to extend to 200 franchises by 2018.

Belvoir says that Taylor is the latest in a series of new franchise recruits as it looks to attract other budding property entrepreneurs who have a background in the lettings industry.

Discussing her move to become a Belvoir franchisee, Taylor said:

“The company was originally launched as a cold start nine years ago and, at that point, it was just the director and me. We had no properties and worked hard to create and increase a client-base. Since then I’ve watched the business grow enormously and I am delighted to have taken on my new role.

“It’s been very busy and we’ve had a fabulous start to the New Year. There has been lots of activity, loads of lets, plenty of new properties and a great deal of positivity from landlords, tenants and the staff.

“As I’ve worked at the office for so long I already have good relationships with the existing landlords and tenants and it’s fantastic to be able to build on that further and steer the business in a new direction.

“I’m very excited about growing Belvoir Basildon and its future.”
