Belvoir scales franchise network with recruitment of former bomb disposal expert
Tim Hughes to open Newbury lettings agency with additional UK franchise opportunities available
Lettings chain Belvoir has seen renewed franchise growth after welcoming latest franchisee Tim Hughes to its new Newbury office.
Hughes, a former bomb disposal expert for the Army and charity, took up the franchise opportunity after “deciding it was time for a change” with his existing skills “only really in demand in dusty, distant parts of the world”, and now plans to open the Berkshire branch later this month.
One of the largest specialist lettings agency franchises in the UK, AIM-listed Belvoir has grown to 160 offices nationwide since its launch in February 1995.
It is currently looking to extend its UK franchise network with the goal to secure an additional 40 franchises by 2017.
With 300 available regions, franchises are available for a one-off fee of £22,500 + VAT which includes an assigned business mentor, ongoing training and training webinars, and support with finding premises and marketing your business.
New Belvoir franchisee, Hughes, commented:
