What does the app do?

It is essentially a to-do list for companies working on projects. You can create a project, sub-projects or tasks and assign to members of your team with deadlines and updates, saving on emails and allowing everyone to see who is responsible for what.

Why did you get it?

To-do lists, whiteboards and post-it notes are all well and good but don’t allow everyone to collaborate, especially if some of the team are on the road. Asana means everyone stays connected and saves on emails too.

How does it help your business?

It means that we can break down large projects or activities piece by piece and manage them in a structured way. If anyone is away, we know what tasks they were supposed to do and the status of them. You can break down projects by client as well which helps us a lot.

What’s your favourite feature?

I love the fact that we can use it on our computers but also on our phones and tablets and it syncs easily, so we are always aware of what needs doing or who is doing what within the company.

Which other business apps would you recommend?

Evernote and Slack are the other must-have apps my team and I use every day.
