Big Data Partnership closes Series B funding round

Firm which provides big data consultancy across a variety of sectors will be moving to Tech City

Big data professional services company Big Data Partnership has completed an undisclosed Series B financing round, led by Beringea.

This follows a previous Series A round in June 2014 which saw the private equity firm invest £1.25m in the London-based company.

Big Data Partnership offers big data strategy, systems integration training and support for clients across a number of sectors including banking, insurance and gaming.

The finance will be used to expand the company’s capabilities in sales, marketing, engineering and data science, in response to increasing demand from new enterprise clients. It will also allow the business to upgrade its premises to a larger location in Tech City.

CEO of Big Data Partnership, Mike Merritt-Holmes, commented: “With proven knowledge and experience aligned to delivering genuine business value, we have become a trusted partner in driving high-impact results in big data for our clients.

“In the rapidly changing market, we believe in collaboration with the leading technology providers and continuously developing skills internally and with the client to maximise the value of big data.

“This further financing round gives us additional resources to expand quickly and strategically and deliver on our goal of being the best and most trusted big data service provider.”
