Birmingham-based noodle bar announces nationwide franchise opportunity

Chop and Wok also set to launch across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East

Asian takeaway service Chop and Wok has launched a nationwide franchise opportunity. With five branches in operation across Birmingham, the Chinese, Indian and pan-Asian food company is moving into franchising to continue its plans to grow. With the first franchise site set to launch in London, Wok and Chop are on the lookout for self-motivated and committed entrepreneurs to run sites across the UK. The company, which has been working with The Franchise Developing Centre to design a suitable franchise pack, has been accepted as a member of the British Franchise Association. With the London franchise site opening in July, Chop and Wok has also signed an agreement with an unnamed Middle Eastern firm, enabling the company to launch franchise sites across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Director of Chop and Wok Aman Bhandal commented: “To already be finalising plans to expand internationally, let alone nationally, is exciting to say the least and shows just how much growth the business has seen in such a short space of time. “Who knows, we may even be able to build something big enough to compete with the big brands out there.”
