On demand beauty app blow LTD acquires Return To Glory

Deal will see blow expand its range of services to include waxing, massage, pilates, and yoga

blow LTD, the London-based provider of on-demand beauty services has announced the acquisition of mobile beauty business Return To Glory.

Launched in 2013 by Dharmash Mistry and Fiona McIntosh – featured in our inspiring women series – blow enables users across London zones one to six and the Home Counties to book blow dry, makeup and nail services straight to their door between 7am and 10pm from £30.

Since launch the service has attracted more than 200 professionals to its platform and provided over 100,000 services. The acquisition will expand its range of services to include waxing, massage, pilates, and yoga.

In June this year blow secured £500,000 to expand its services across the UK, as well as funding from tennis star Andy Murray in a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs.

McIntosh commented: “We are thrilled to be able to offer busy professional women exactly what they need – a full menu of expert beauty services delivered to their door, whenever and wherever they want them. This also means a wider range of expert beauty professionals can join the platform, enabling them to earn more, manage their time and become their own bosses.”

Natasha Dwyer, founder of Return To Glory, added: “We believe this combination will significantly enhance the proposition to both consumer and professionals. We will work closely with the blow LTD. team to ensure a seamless & successful transition.”
