Europe’s 25 Corporate Startup Stars winner matches new products and brands with in-house investment

Car manufacturer BMW works closely with start-ups to create new brands and enter new markets, with BMW i Ventures investing in start-ups and operating as a facilitator between the organisation and its portfolio companies.

Another innovative programme at BMW is the BMW Startup Garage, a start-ups gateway into the multi trillion dollar automotive industry, it offers a no-strings attached, co-development partnership, as well as a network of top automotive engineers and managers.

Moovit is one of BMW i Ventures’ most successful investments. The Israeli start-up built a global public transit navigation application with more than 35 Mio users and integrated DriveNow, BMW’s car sharing offering, into the app as well.
