The awards aims to celebrate exceptional role models who are supporting gender equality across the Northern Powerhouse region.
Founded in 2007, Ray has grown Bright & Beautiful to more than 50 franchises nationwide, employing 460 people with a reported £5m turnover.
Donating 10% of its profits to charity, Bright & Beautiful works with Compassion International and other charities to support underprivileged families overseas by helping them start their own microbusiness.
Its franchise packages start at £15,995 +VAT and it promises to deliver franchisees an average annual income of £50,000 with positive cash flow, alongside “world class training” and support.
Ray said: “The thing I am proud of most in our business is that we are able to support so many women. From our clients who need their homes cared for so they can enjoy their free time to our teams who have fair employment rights and flexible working hours and our franchisees who can build their own profitable family friendly businesses.”
