British Franchise Exhibition returns to Manchester

Ambitious entrepreneurs can meet with global franchises such as McDonald’s and Esquires Coffee to discuss regional opportunities at the June exhibition

The British Franchise Exhibition (BFE) will return to EventCity in Manchester this June 19 and 20, giving aspiring franchisees the opportunity to speak with leading global and regional franchises about potential openings.

Attending franchise brands include McDonald’s, Mac Tools, Platinum Property Partners, Anytime Fitness, Esquires Coffee and Ewe Move, and the event will feature keynote speakers such as Zeven Media’s Joshua Cook and Inspired Goodbyes’ Helen Lawson and Sophia Lucop-Leech.

In addition to speaking to leading franchises, attendees will have the chance to go listen to over 40 business-focused seminars, workshops and finance clinics.

The BFE, which is run by British Franchise Association (bfa), has also added a new workshop to this year’s event titled ‘Growing Your Own Business’ which will cover topics such as SEO, social media, creative marketing, alternative finance and PR.

Adrian Goodsell, franchise sales director at organisers Venture Marketing Group discussed the BFE and the importance of its Manchester location:

“With the North of England set to see an increase in power and growth, this is prime time for ambitious businessmen and women to speak to regional experts about possible business ventures.

“The British Franchise Exhibition is an exclusive opportunity to meet with British Franchise Association (bfa) approved brands to gain trustworthy advice and see how franchising could work for you.”

This year’s exhibition will be sponsored by global fitness franchise Anytime Fitness and visitors can gain free entry by registering online and entering the promotional code BFE1.
