Brunel Healthcare bought for £4m

Brunel Healthcare has been bought by its rival NeutraHealth in a deal worth £4m.


Brunel supply vitamins and supplements to major retailers and chemists such as Tesco, the Co-op, Boots and Superdrug.

Brunel’s management team are to be retained in the deal and it is believed that the company will operate as a separate entity with the Neutrahealth umbrella.

Neutrahealth, which floated on AIM in 2005, was advised by Pinsent Masons on both the acquisition and the listing.

Neutrahealth was set up to make primarily set up to make acquisitions in the nutraceuticals market which includes products such as vitamins, minerals, supplements, herbal remedies and even organic foods.

The business also plans to grow organically through scientific research.

Brunel Healthcare was advised on the deal by Lyons Davidson in Bristol.
