BT launches ‘1p a month’ phone and internet deal
Introductory offer aimed at start-ups
BT Business has launched a new deal offering start-ups and small companies access to broadband and unlimited calls for 1p a month.
The introductory offer, open to anyone requiring a new BT Business line or returning to the company from another provider, is valid for an initial three months – although monthly £15.50 line rental must still be paid.
The package includes business broadband of speeds of up to 20Mbps and unlimited Wi-Fi in over three and a half million UK hotspots, as well as unlimited landline and mobile calls.
Entrepreneurs wishing to take advantage of the offer will need to commit to a minimum 24-month contract, which – after the first three months – will be charged at £12.50 per month for unlimited landline calls and £20.50 per month for unlimited mobile calls.
Jean Salha, general manager of BT Business, said: “The combination of landline phone, mobile and broadband is vital to a business and by offering it for just a penny we are pleased to be making these services even more accessible to customers”.
