Business opportunities abound as Driver Hire gears up for “record trading year”

Having celebrated the success of its franchisees, transport logistics chain Driver Hire has franchise vacancies for budding recruitment entrepreneurs

Logistics and transport recruitment franchise Driver Hire recently celebrated “another record trading year” at its annual conference, where a quarter of its franchisees were recognised with performance awards.

The accolades presented included the Franchisee of the Year Award, which went to Donald Clymont and Gordon Hyslop of Driver Hire’s Ayrshire & Dumfries, while franchisees working for the chain in Belfast, Uxbridge, Reading and Ashford were also recognised.

An additional 17 franchisees were given awards for achieving record revenue numbers.

Established in 1983, Driver Hire provides staff to the road transport and logistics industry through its network of 85 franchises.

Chris Chidley, chief executive officer at Driver Hire, said:

“We’re well on course to make it four record business years in a row. That’s a reflection of the superb performance of our network as a whole.

“Behind each individual performance there’s a great story of commitment, hard work and – of course – Driver Hire’s proven business model.
