Branding automation start-up Bynder clinches €20m Series A

Platform that allows brands to collaborate on marketing content set to accelerate international expansion and product development

Bynder, the branding automation company, has closed a €20m Series A funding round from Insight Venture Partners.

Founded in 2013 by Chris Hall, Bynder’s marketing software allows brands, marketing departments and agencies to create, design and share content such as documents, graphics and videos through an online portal.

The platform serves over 150,000 users across more than 350 companies around the world including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Logitech and Puma. Since launch, it has grown its employee count from one to 200.

The funding will be used to fuel international growth and product development.

Hall commented: “What Salesforce did for sales tech, Bynder can do for brands. The cloud is allowing marketers to work faster and smarter, freeing up time for creative and strategic initiatives instead of repetitive administrative tasks.”
