Care franchise Heritage Healthcare secures Associate bfa Membership

Chain has been upgraded by the industry regulatory body after developing its franchise model, policies and procedures

Heritage Healthcare, the nationwide homecare franchise, has been upgraded from Provisional Member to Associate Member of the British Franchise Association (bfa) after witnessing “significant growth” over the past 12 months.

The bfa is the only single regulatory body for ethical franchising and will only award franchise brands with membership once they have passed standards-based accreditation.

Heritage Healthcare has said that the upgrade is due to a combination of establishing out its franchise model, policies, and procedures to support multiple franchise outlets.

Launched in 2008 but only started as a franchise in 2014, Heritage Healthcare specialises in providing expert care at home and wants to become the “care-provider of choice”.

Its franchise packages include a two week induction programme, a full marketing and PR launch, and assistance with raising capital, among other support, for an initial fee of £27,995 + VAT.

Heritage Healthcare CEO, Glenn Pickersgill, commented on the news: “Joining the bfa was never in question for us when we first started to franchise. We share the same values and we were and continue to be, committed to growing our franchise network ethically and responsibly.

“We are passionate about the bfa and what it stands for. We believe that we have passed this ethos on to our franchisees and are proud to say that all franchisees are bfa members.”
