Co-founder of Seedrs named as one of UK’s 100 most influential men

Startups Top 20 company recognised alongside Sir Richard Branson in GQ list

Co-founder and CEO of Seedrs Jeff Lynn has been listed in GQ’s list of 100 most influential men.

Ranked at number 55, Lynn joins influential business figures including Sir Richard Branson and Sir Philip Green on the 2013 list.

Launched in July 2012 as the first FSA-approved crowdfunding platform, Seedrs was recognised in Startups’ Top 20  start-ups of 2012.

The latest accolade comes as Seedrs celebrates six months of trading, during which time 12 start-up businesses have successfully secured seed funding through the platform.

Lynn commented:  “It is a thrill to be included in this list alongside such an amazing selection of people because it shows that our efforts at Seedrs to open up this new investment opportunity to a much wider audience, while directly stimulating UK economic growth, have been recognised as the beginning of something big.”
