Contempo Lettings opens first Northern Ireland franchise

Scotland-based letting agency plans to open 30 franchise territories in three years

Contempo Lettings spreads to Northern Ireland, launching the company’s first franchise site outside of Scotland.

The letting agency, which began franchising in 2007, has taken on new franchisee Donald McNair, who will be responsible for running the site at Londonderry.

Entering into the franchise with no previous experience in property letting, McNair has received training from Contempo in areas such as management legislation and problem solving.

The new franchise site joins Contempo’s existing network, which is comprised of seven offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow City and East, Renfrewshire, Glasgow West, Glasgow South, Edinburgh South and Edinburgh West.

Contempo Lettings is hoping to continue to build on its network, with plans to open 30 new franchise territories over the next three years.
