Croydon’s Natterbox secures £3m growth business loan

Funding facility from BOOST&CO will underpin development of cloud voice service provider

UK hosted voice services provider Natterbox has raised £3m from debt lending from BOOST&CO to cement its plans for global expansion.

Launched in 2012 by Webroot founder Neil Hammerton, the business specialises in voice intelligence technology with six data centres worldwide and has over 250 global companies signed to its service including Groupon, Kimberly-Clark and Legal & General.

The start-up recently opened headquarters in Croydon; the fast-growth tech-cluster which has been dubbed ‘Croydon Tech City’, on the back of strong growth with 122% year-on-year trading in its last quarter.

It plans to use the funding to expand its Salesforce AppExchange offering and to increase its customer base.

On the announcement, Natterbox CEO, Neil Hammerton, commented: “We want to keep this momentum up and we have expanded our team worldwide to do so.

“As organisations refresh their telecoms and voice management services, they have the opportunity to improve their customer experience as well as drive efficiency and save money. Telecoms is now rapidly moving to a cloud delivery model in the same way as IT.”

Lance Mysyrowicz, a partner with BOOST&Co, added:

“We are delighted to support Natterbox to accelerate the roll out of its awesome CRM voice integration product in the Salesforce ecosystem.

“The management team has demonstrated its high technical ability and is showing impressive growth by providing fast, easy to configure voice solutions for the Salesforce AppExchange platform.”
