Domino’s renews franchise growth with West London store opening

Pizza chain welcomes Sarmad Shakarchi to Greenford outlet

Pizza delivery franchise Domino’s Pizza has celebrated the expansion of its franchise network, with a new store opening in Greenford, West London.

Officially launched last Friday by new franchisee Sarmad Shakarchi, the Ealing outlet is set to create 25 full-time and part-time jobs for people in the local area.

To mark the Greenford opening, Domino’s granted children’s charity Rays of Sunshine the opportunity to give 15-year old Helena Bark, currently undergoing chemotherapy, and her family, a store tour and pizza-making lesson.

Established in 1960, Dominos says it is the “leading player in the pizza delivery market” with over 850 outlets across the UK and more than 10,000 stores worldwide.

The chain currently has limited franchise opportunities but is keen to review applications with its full franchise package costing approximately £150,000 in liquid funds.

Greenford franchisee Shakarchi discussed his franchise venture:

“We are delighted to open our new store and serve the local residents with our delicious, fresh pizza.

Discussing his charity involvement, Shakarchi continued: “Rays of Sunshine is our corporate charity and we are passionate about doing all we can to support this worthy cause.”
