Enter the Dragon: Everything you need to know about the Dragons’ Den investors

Now in its 14th series, we take a look at every Dragon to have ever appeared on the entrepreneurial show from 2005 to 2016...

The face of enterprise has changed dramatically over the last 11 years. The number of new businesses registered each year has soared from 388,300 across the entirety of 2005 to over 370,000 businesses registered in the first half of 2016 alone.

Yet while the entrepreneurial landscape has evolved during this time, one enterprising TV show has remained a popular hit among business owners, budding start-ups and Joe public – Dragons’ Den.

Having returned this week for its 14th series with Peter Jones, Sarah Willingham, Deborah Meaden, Nick Jenkins and Touker Suleyman heading up the investor panel, we wanted to take a look at investors new and old to find out exactly what happened when the Den’s cameras stop rolling.

From YO! Sushi founder Simon Woodroffe, who appeared in the first series of the Den, to high-profile former Dragons James Caan and Duncan Bannayne, as well as the show’s current investors, this guide has you covered if you want to know more about the business tycoons that have judged the best and worst pitches from the show.

Want to know what happened to “the first lady of the Den” Rachel Elnaugh?

Want to learn about what Peter Jones – the only remaining “original” Dragon – gets up to outside of the Den façade?

Want to find out what each of the Dragons’ most successful investments have been?

Look no further…
