Driver Hire Group acquires services provider Infra Safety Services Labour

Take-over to create £90m turnover for the transport recruitment specialist

Leading transport and logistics recruitment chain the Driver Hire Group, part of parent company Driver Hire Group Services, has acquired rail services provider Infra Safety Services Labour Ltd (ISS Labour) for an undisclosed amount.

ISS specialises in supplying professional and labour services, minor works projects, track lighting and safety barrier solutions to the rail industry, operating offices across Derby, Manchester, Stafford and Newport with 35 permanent staff and 600 contractors working within its track renewal and specialist projects.

The deal will see ISS Labour retain its current management team and continue trading under its existing brand.

Bradford-based Driver Hire Group manages several divisions including Driver Hire UK, which has over 3,000 drivers working across its national franchise network, and Driver Hire Training which provides CPC training to over 30,000 transport professionals.

Its purchase of ISS Labour is set to enable it extend its recruitment services and it predicts the acquisition will provide a turnover boost of £85m to £90m.
