E-commerce web tool User Replay closes $500,000 seed funding round

Investment from South East Fund & TVB Growth Scheme to scale offering

Reading-based technology start-up User Replay has secured $500,000 seed finance from the South East Seed Fund and the Thames Valley Berkshire (TVB) Growth Loan Scheme, bringing its total funding to date to $2.5m.

Founded in 2011, User Replay offers e-commerce companies the ability to track customer journeys and lets its clients, which includes Pizza Hut and Sports Direct, record, re-run and analyse visitor activity to their website.

It says its technology is “invaluable” as it helps e-commerce business’ to improve their customer shopping experience and website quality.

This latest funding addition will be used to develop its platform and grow its client base.

The investment sees User Replay become the first business awarded finance from the joint partnership between regional business support service, the TVB Growth Scheme, and early-stage equity fund the South East Fund.
