Applications for the Startups Awards 2016 are now open – giving the UK’s most exciting, high-potential new businesses the opportunity to receive major publicity, validation, and increased exposure.

Now in its 13th year, the Startups Awards has championed a range of innovative start-ups which have gone on to become household names such as Notonthehighstreet.com, Naked Wines, Beer52, Secret Escapes, and last year’s overall winner Appear Here.

The longest running awards of its kind, this year there are 15 categories for start-ups to enter covering everything from Crowdfunded Business of the Year and Export business of the Year, to Woman in Business and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

50 shortlisted businesses will also compete for the title of People’s Champion; an accolade voted for by Startups.co.uk readers and fellow businesses.

Entrants must be privately-owned UK-based companies launched on or after August 1 2012.

You can find the entry form, as well as more information about the awards here.

The awards will be judged by a high-profile panel of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors with Cath Kidston MBE, Forward Partners’ Nic Brisbourne, Secret Escapes co-founder Tom Valentine, Innocent Drinks co-founder Jon Wright, Charles Tyrwhitt founder Nick Wheeler, and Emma Sinclair MBE, already confirmed among the judging line-up.
