As more travellers ditched the package holiday, InsureandGo offered them a bespoke sales system that asked just three questions before offering a highly competitive quote. Launched in 2000, it now has a turnover of more than &pound;49m and a customer base of two million.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Judges&rsquo; comments:<\/strong> InsureandGo has posted spectacular growth over the two years to December 2006, with revenue rising from &pound;21 million to &pound;40 million. Profit more than doubled over the same time period to more than &pound;2 million despite additional investment in infrastructure with staff levels rising to nearly 300 people.<\/p>\n<p>The judges were particularly impressed by the value of the insurance products offered by InsurandGo, the ease of use of the website, and the quality of the insurance cover provided.
