Female cleaning franchise hits £1.5m turnover

Bright & Beautiful’s turnover landmark follows recruitment of 30th franchisee

Housekeeping franchise Bright & Beautiful has successfully reached a turnover of £1.5m. The news follows the firm’s recruitment of six new franchisees, who bought sites across Tunbridge Wells, Cheshire, Brentwood, Yeovil, Maidenhead and Solihull. With a franchise network of 30 business women, including  former sales managers, fashion buyers and policewomen, Bright & Beautiful provides cleaning and laundry services to homes across the UK, using non-toxic cleaning products and non-synthetic dusters. Launched by Rachel Ray in 2007, the firm aims to offer its female franchisees a flexible business model, which fits around family commitments and provides an income of up to £50,000 a year. Ray commented: “Reaching our £1.5m milestone is an incredible feeling and it is hugely rewarding to be creating employment for so many women all over the UK. “Having worked at the top of the corporate ladder myself, my vision for Bright & Beautiful was always to support and empower women and we see more and more women who want a career but who are not prepared to sacrifice their family for the sake of their job.”
